ES Welcoming Refugees Project Challenge

Our Primary Years Program Students from KG-5th Grade joined this year’s Students Rebuild Welcoming Refugees Project under the guidance of their art teacher Ms. Ghadeer.

Ms. Ghadeer led all her students through an art project which inspired students to create postcards welcoming young refugees to our communities. Our students channeled their creativity to welcome people displaced by war and other crises by creating postcards that will be sent to young refugees around the world. The Bezos Family Foundation is donating $5 to refugee-aid organizations for every postcard created, so students will see the difference they are making firsthand. We submitted 410 postcards which raised $2050. Way to go Elementary students!
