Academics
A focus on authentic teaching, learning, and assessment enhanced through IB Program offerings fostering academic depth and breadth. KAA academics include bilingual education supported by Islamic values and integrations with Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) approaches, inquiry, and project-based learning. Core Principles are animated in the classroom and all Academy activities. 

IB PYP/MYP/DP training and experience preferred.

KAA is collecting resumes for the 2024-2025 school year for the following positions:

• Substitute Teachers (all subjects) 
• Elementary Homeroom Teacher
• Swimming Instructor (Female)
• Lifeguard (Female)
• Part-Time Technical Support
• Middle School English teacher

We are looking for educators with the following qualifications:

• A minimum BA Degree in content related field
• Teaching qualification, preferably VA or National Board Teaching Certification
• Full-time teaching experience preferred
• IB PYP/MYP/DP experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Instructional technology
• Legally authorized to work in the United States of America
