KAA Students Participate in "Color of Justice" Program
On Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, KAA students attended the "Color of Justice" Program at the Fairfax County Courthouse. This engaging four-hour session provided a unique educational experience for the students.
During this four-hours session, students had the chance to watch a mock criminal trial and then were divided up into juries to discuss the guilt or innocence of a criminal defendant, while being advised by actual judges and lawyers.
We had 13 students participate (6 high school and 7 middle school). This experience not only broadened their knowledge of the legal system but also allowed them to develop critical thinking and decision-making skills.
The "Color of Justice" Program was a valuable and memorable experience for all the KAA students involved.
